2025 Global Vision Awards

​The Columbia World Affairs Council is pleased to present the 2025 Global Vision Award to David M. Beasley, Nobel Peace Prize recipient as Executive Director of the World Food Programme (2017-23) and South Carolina Governor (1995-99). Governor Beasley will be honored at a black tie gala on Monday, December 1, at the Columbia Museum of Art.

​This marks the 32nd year the Columbia World Affairs Council has presented the award to a leader whose contributions have made a significant impact on projecting South Carolina globally. The annual Global Vision Award Gala is the Council’s only fund-raising event.
